There are many photobooths to select for wedding nowadays and sometimes we are lost for choices. Let us do a breakdown for you so hopefully after this post, you will be able to select your ideal photobooth for your wedding . There are three types of wedding photobooth to consider:

1. Traditional photobooth
Traditional photobooth normally have a backdrop, props for you to choose and a camera attached on a tripod at the front which will take the photo of you at a count of three. Couples will choose this if they want something easy to go with and do not want to think of more creative ideas. This would also mean that this is the same old photobooth that 70% of the wedding couple will opt for because it is easy and cheap. However, one of the terrible setbacks is that it is very slow as people will take a long time to select their props and eventually take a photo. Elderly people might take even longer if you know what i mean. This would result in long queue and some may never even get their photo.

2. Roving photographer with instant print
Another type of photobooth involve dslr photographer going around the wedding venue to take photos. This is definitely a faster optional as once the photographer comes in, a photo is snapped and send instantly for printing. It is definitely more expensive than the traditional photobooth but some may feel this is important as the wedding couple are looking for quality dslr photos to keep. One of the setbacks is each person would probably only get one photo as there are only one photographer or max two to go around depending on your budget. The people may also not like the photo taken resulting in the photo being thrown away. This is generally only good for the wedding couple to keep quality photos but not particularly useful for the attendees.

3. Live Instagram printing
The last photobooth is Live Instagram printing which involve the use of social media app, Instagram. Instagram being the top sharing photo app in the world have endless photo sharing capabilities for your wedding. Your attendees who have an Instagram app can literally take a photo at your wedding and tagging it with your wedding hashtag, this photo can be printed out immediately at the photobooth. This means that all of the attendees can basically become your photographer at your wedding. With all of these photos are curated in the Instagram hashtag, couples can see the all the wedding Instagram photos by just referring it. What’s more is that your attendees are actually having fun throughout this entire process as the photo taken by them will be shown on the screen once it is approved by the instagram printing moderator.
